Ergebnis der ausgiebigen Probefahrt: Sehr frisches Fahrzeug, macht einen sehr guten Eindruck. Motor und Getriebe arbeiten einwandfrei. Der CLS wirkt sehr stabil und ist nicht so wartungsintensiv wie die Vorfacelift-Modelle mit AirMatic. Der Motor mit dieser Motornummer hat nicht die Probleme der Anfangsmodelle. Die letzte Wartung war bei etwa 58.000 km.
