FAQ - Frequently asked questions

Why is it worth importing from Japan?

Importing cars from Japan offers three key benefits:

  1. Firstly, they impress with their surprisingly low mileage, due to the short distances in Japanese cities.
  2. Second, thanks to the meticulous care of Japanese car owners, these vehicles are often in near-new condition.
  3. Thirdly, vehicles from Japan are particularly attractive due to competitive prices and favorable YEN (¥) to EUR (€) exchange rates.

Why are there left-hand drive vehicles in Japan?

Overall, there are many reasons for the popularity of left-hand drive vehicles in Japan. In addition to the higher resale value through the export market and the prestige associated with a left-hand drive vehicle, these factors influence the decision of many Japanese to purchase such a vehicle.

Driving a vehicle from Japan in Germany - is that legal?

Where do I pick up the vehicle?

Do you want the vehicle including the registration? Then you pick up the vehicle from us near Bremen. The vehicle will then have a 5-day registration.

You are also welcome to take a look at the vehicle as soon as it arrives in Germany if you can't wait ;)

If you would like to register yourself, you can pick up the vehicle with a trailer or your own red license plates (transfer license plates).

Why is a deposit required at auctions?

This serves as a guarantee for us that you are serious, as we purchase the vehicle on your behalf in our name and sell it to you. Of course we will deduct the deposit from your bill.

However, if you decide not to buy the vehicle, we will take the deposit because we now have to sell the vehicle elsewhere and this will incur extreme effort and additional costs.

If no purchase contract is concluded, due to an unsuccessful auction. (Bid too low, etc.) and you no longer want to look for additional vehicles, you will receive a full refund of the deposit.

When is payment of the invoice due?

A deposit payment (€1,500) is only due once you have selected a specific vehicle and are ready to conclude a binding purchase contract.

For auction vehicles, the remainder of the invoice must be paid to our German account immediately after the successful auction. Of course the deposit will be taken into account.

For vehicles that are in our fleet and are offered, the total amount is due immediately and is therefore considered a reservation of the vehicle and a legally valid purchase.

We attach great importance to security and transparency in our business relationships. If you have any questions, just contact us!

How do you check your vehicles?

Our careful inspection process is the same for all vehicles and is carried out meticulously. We will forward the auction reports to you so that you can take a look yourself. We will also send you HD pictures and, if you wish, videos of your desired vehicle.

How is shipping from Japan done?

Your vehicle will be delivered via container or roll on roll off transport (direct loading by moving the vehicle onto the ship) to Bremberhaven. There the vehicle will then be transferred to our contractual partner in Bremen and made available for you to pick up. Transport by plane is rarely considered but is also possible. Optionally, we also offer direct delivery to your front door, which is covered by transport insurance.
