From the auction to you – this is how it works

Are you looking for a specific vehicle from Japan? We'll auction it for you – transparently, securely, and easily. Please follow these steps for a smooth process:

1. Inquiries

  • Serious inquiries

    Auctions close quickly, so we focus on serious buyers. Please only submit an inquiry if you truly intend to purchase.

  • Payment of the deposit

    Before we bid on your behalf, we require a deposit of €1,500 , no later than 24 hours before the auction . This deposit serves as security for your intention to purchase. After paying the deposit, you must immediately place a bid with your maximum budget. If your bid is unsuccessful (e.g., the vehicle was sold for more than your maximum budget), you will receive a full refund.

  • Your maximum budget

    Please tell us your absolute maximum bid —the price you're willing to pay in the end. This should include everything, from transportation to any additional services you'd like.

    A bid without a deposit will not be considered.

2. On the day of the car auction

  • On-site vehicle inspection

    Our team in Japan will personally inspect the vehicle. If any unexpected defects occur, we will notify you immediately and refund your deposit.

  • We offer for you

    Does your vehicle make a good impression? Great! We'll bid on your behalf at the auction, taking your maximum budget into account.

3. After the auction

  • Payment & Purchase Agreement

    If your bid is successful, you will immediately receive an invoice and the purchase agreement via email. Payment must be made immediately. The vehicle will then be transferred to our fleet in Japan.

  • Shipment

    We handle the entire shipping process. Shipping typically takes 6-12 weeks —we'll keep you updated at all times.

  • Vehicle documents

    While your car is on its way, we will send you all the necessary vehicle documents for vehicle registration by mail.

4. Arrival in the destination country

  • Transport to Bremen

    Once your car arrives at the port, we will take care of the entire process and bring it to Bremen to prepare it for the DE standard so that you can drive your vehicle legally in Germany.

  • Pick up from you

    Congratulations!
    Your car has passed the TÜV inspection and is now ready for you to pick up at our partner location.

Additional services (with surcharge)

  • Door-to-door delivery within Germany

    Vehicles usually arrive in Bremerhaven. Upon request, we can deliver your vehicle directly to your door.

    We currently only offer deliveries within Germany.

  • Professional maintenance and vehicle preparation

    Recommendation: A complete checkup including an oil change, brake check, and maintenance for a worry-free start. This includes filter changes, fluid checks, and inspections of the brakes, battery, lights, and tires. These will be replaced if necessary. A thorough deep cleaning will also be performed.

  • Valuation report

    Your vehicle will be fully inspected in Germany by an independent and professional appraiser. A valuation report based on the current market value will be prepared – ideal for safeguarding your investment and providing proof that purchasing through BCJ was worthwhile.
