Terms of Payment

Here you can find the payment terms of Beyond Cars Japan (BCJ Inc.)

1. Down payment

The deposit is required to start the purchase process. After entering the customer data, the customer is directly asked to make this deposit.

All payments are settled in Euros (€) . If payments are made in another currency, the current exchange rate will be applied.

If desired, the deposit can be offset against the final invoice of the purchased vehicle or "parked" at BCJ Inc.

2. Payment methods

We only accept bank transfers (T/T).

3. Invoicing

• We will issue the first invoice within 1–2 business days after receiving the deposit. This invoice will include all costs incurred in Japan.
  
  
• For sales to/after Germany:
  Import duties are not applicable upon arrival of the vehicle in Germany.
  
  
• The final invoice includes all adjustments to the vehicle for registration in Germany, including the general inspection and emissions test (HU/AU).
  
  The total price stated on our website is the sum of all items listed. For more information, please see the payment and cost overview.

Important:
It is necessary to provide the correct address as the documents are needed to collect and register the vehicle.

4. Payment deadline

The invoice amount must be transferred within the specified payment period.

In case of late payment, a fee of 2% will be charged on the total invoice amount. In addition, the invoice will be reissued and adjusted to the current exchange rate.

5. Demolition fees

If a purchase is canceled after a vehicle has been acquired, a cancellation fee equal to the deposit will be charged. This applies to both vehicles from our inventory and auction vehicles.

a) Inventory vehicles

At BCJ, we begin fixed processes as soon as you make your deposit:
• Internal coordination
• Document preparation
• Communication with service providers
• Conversion and transaction costs

Therefore, the deposit can only be refunded minus the costs incurred up to that point, regardless of whether the vehicle has already been purchased in full or not.

We always try to avoid cancellation fees or minimize them for you. For example, we offer to resell the vehicle through our network to keep financial losses to a minimum.

b) Auction vehicles

• If no vehicle was purchased for you at auction:
 You will, of course, receive your deposit back in full, without any deductions.
• If a vehicle has already been purchased for you at auction:
   If you cancel the purchase or no longer wish to take delivery of the vehicle, we will retain the deposit as a cancellation fee.
