Step 1: Request your auction access
Get started by applying for auction access at Beyond Cars Japan. This is your entry into the world of used car auctions from Japan.
Step 2: Get your login details
After registering, you will gain access to Japan's most prestigious auction houses. Immerse yourself in a wide range of vehicles from Japan.
Step 3: Browse through the vehicles and filter specifically for left-hand drive models.
Find exactly what you need. German re-imports, JDM vehicles or even special features! Use our filter options to find specific vehicle types, including left-hand drive. A helpful video is available.
Step 4: Selecting the vehicle
Do you have a suitable vehicle in mind? Great! Tell us the auction number and the auction house via WhatsApp or email.
We will take care of translating the auction report and provide you with additional pictures, for example of the underbody and interior.
Step 5: Ready to bid?
Interested in a vehicle? A deposit is required to participate. BCJ will ask you to complete the deposit process on the website as soon as the time is available.
Step 6: Inspection of the vehicle
Beyond Cars Japan will carefully inspect the vehicle. Please note that this inspection can only take place on the day of the auction. Please note: Auctions in Japan are based on the Japanese time zone.
Step 7: Auction result
- Unsuccessful : Don't worry, there are no costs if you bid too low.
- Success : Congratulations! Your vehicle arrives at our location in Nagoya. You will receive an invoice with all export costs from Japan.
Step 8: Shipping the vehicle
Once the vehicle arrives at our premises, we will take care of all the formalities and prepare it for shipping. The preparation time is a maximum of one week.
Step 9: Receipt of payment
As soon as we receive your payment, we will confirm this and book the next available ship for your vehicle.
Step 10: Live tracking at sea
Your vehicle is on the way! You will receive all the necessary tracking information to follow the status of your vehicle until it arrives at the destination port.
